Total Protect Versus Full Guard - Sophos

This question comes up quite a bit what is the difference between Full Guard and Total Protect. Full Guard refers to the Security Subscriptions - and includes all five of the Security Subscriptions - Network Protection, Email Protection, Web Protection, Wireless Protection (with the use of a Sophos AP) and Web Server Protection. Full Guard is what is purchased to renew the Total Protect - and you can choose full guard with Premium or 24/7 support or without and receive standard support (which would be support from us your reseller). Full Guard also is the subscription that you would purchase if you wanted all five for your software ISO if you were installing the Sophos on your own hardware, virtual server or in the cloud.

Total Protect includes the appliance as well as the "full guard" subscription and come with the premium support. Total protect is only available as a net new purchase of the product.

The other question we receive is which is better - if you are purchasing the Sophos product for the first time, and you want more than two one security subscriptions - it is highly recommended that you go with the Total Protect.
