Symtrex's custom built Black Box solution includes: Virus Detection, Hardened 2.4 Kernel, Firewall, VPN, Hard Drive Mirror (for full redundancy) and Port Scanning Monitoring (a form of Intrusion Detection).
Each device is custom built to our clients specifications regarding their security necessity. (After extensive development Symtrex selected a program called Astaro.) As a firewall Astaro Security Linux protects the network; the proxies filter the network traffic and using the VPN functionality, the LAN can safely be extended to subsidiaries, customers and home offices.
